Gaming has become a lot more mainstream over the past few years, and the Nintendo Switch has catapulted that to new heights. While walking around Macy's with a Game Boy in your hand was pretty dorky in the 90's, these days it's a fashion symbol to tote your Nintendo handheld.

DeAndre "Soulja Boy" Way is a proud gamer, most commonly seen playing competitive shooters on Xbox such as Gears of War and Halo. His enthusiasm for virtual worlds has led him to create mixtapes bearing major influence from gaming, including one called Mario & Domo vs. the World, a record with cover art derived from Super Mario Bros.

On March 10th he recorded himself hanging out at his residence smoking before picking up his Nintendo Switch and showing off the console, with his custom rubberized Joy-Con covers and all. According to him, Nintendo's new console is "lit".

Casey Neistat spends most of his time busy with filmmaking and technology, but he certainly made room to attend the Nintendo Switch's launch party in New York where he was surprised by how fun the console was to use, later spending a moment to talk about how the Switch "stands alone" in focusing on entertainment value when compared to the Xbox One and PS4, both of which he owns.

Shortly after, he would pick up a Switch of his own before heading to the airport to fly to Texas. He would unbox the console after boarding the plane, sharing it all for his 7.2 million subscriber YouTube channel to watch.

Jimmy Fallon has often shared his affinity for Nintendo during interviews with geeky guests, perhaps most notably in his "freak out" when talking with Michael Cera about Mario Kart, and when he blew his chance to date Nicole Kidman many years ago by turning on his Nintendo 64 when she was at his apartment.

In a couple of new photos taken by the New York Times, Fallon is seen walking with a briefcase to work at 30 Rock. Inside the briefcase are things you'd expect such as a journal, pen, and pens, but also a Nintendo Switch with the game 1,2 Switch.

Given his admitted addiction to Mario Kart, you can bet he's been busy playing Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, honing his craft in anticipation of competing with other celebrities.
