About women's body hair

I've noticed that there's a trend against pubic hair on women.  I've seen pictures in the adult section of this website where an attractive woman will have a trimmed triangle of pubic hair and the comments will read, "ever hear of a razor, bitch?"  If a woman is really attractive and shows pleasant enthusiasm in bed, I don't care if she has a fucking wookie in her panties.

If I'm going to go down on a woman, I might want her to trim the hedges some, but the necessity of totally wiping out all traces of pussy hair is beyond me.  We are, after all, mammals.  We've got hair all over the place.  We think it's weird if a woman doesn't shave under her arms too.  I think it looks weird because I'm not accomodated to it, but I know intellectually there's no reason to shave it off.  It's only asthetically unpleasing because society has dictated that it's weird.

I went back to college in my 30s.  I was in a weightlifting class and had two 19 year old partners.  There was a very attractive woman in the class who didn't shave under her arms.  It REALLY freaked out my weightlifting partners.  "Dude, gouge out my eyes so I'll quit looking at her."  She's over there doing the military press...

Now this was a really good looking woman, wearing next to nothing, pumping iron.  By all rights these two guys who're practically made of testosterone should be perving on her.  Two wisps of under arm hair and they were grossing out.  I asked her about it one day.  "Hey, look, I'm married and I'm not hitting on you at all.  I noticed that you don't shave and it freaks out my two immature lifting partners.  European?  Gay?  Just don't give a shit?"

She explained to me that her fiance was in active duty in the middle east and she didn't like the attention she got from guys in the weight room.  Too many, "hey, baby, you need a spot?"  She explained to me that a couple months away from a razor was "asshole repellent."

If all women have body hair on their legs, under their arms, and between their legs, why do we feel we need to deny this.  I shave my face because it's part of my dress code at work and you get food stuck in your facial hair.  It's a pain.  Besides, my great grandmother was Chippewa and I have just enough native american heritage to not grow proper facial hair.  I look like Shaggy on Scooby Doo if I stop shaving.  I've never been bothered by my leg or underarm hair.  Why do we expect women to get rid of it?

Now shaving your legs and underarms must be a total ass pain.  I'll bet it wasn't a woman who came up with the idea.  While they're at it, why don't they shave their eyebrows?  That's no weirder.  It's body hair they don't need too, isn't it?

Is it a subconscious pedophile thing?  Are we trying to make them look sexually immature?

I'm just glad that I'm not expected to shave my whole fucking body including my pubes.

Now you guys who want to reply, "because it's fucking gross, that's why."  Try to explain why it's gross that your girl is a mammal and has body hair.
