ALL of us

Pain is not a contest,
it's not who hurts the most
There is no reward challenge,
no tribal vote
No one gets to brag,
none should hear them gloat
Let's let the cries of hate,
 all die inside their throat

ALL of us have pain, ALL of us have bled
ALL of us are stained, ALL of us, I said
ALL of our faults, and ALL of our blames
ALL of us have fought, and NONE should be ashamed

band together,
 among band-aids
if by ourselves,
 then what remains?

We've still got our scars,
we've still got those stains
Let's ALL get together,
 and wrack our brains

Improve the situation,
art and science meet
Stop battles outside borders,
time for a retreat

ALL of us have pain, ALL of us have bled
ALL of us are stained, ALL of us, I said
ALL of our faults, and ALL of our blames
ALL of us have fought, and NONE should be ashamed

Outside the grasp,
 of what has passed,
the future unclear,
can't see through the mask

Present is here,
some pristine gift
Some know how to exploit,
 and some try to resist

Tearing at the wrapper,
grasping at the package
Ripping present joy,
with something utmost savage

ALL of us have pain, ALL of us have bled
ALL of us are stained, ALL of us, I said
ALL of our faults, and ALL of our blames
ALL of us have fought, and NONE should be ashamed

NOTE: I dunno, this just seems like a song to me. I've never repeated a stanza before, like it was a chorus. I'll have to run this by Zach, when he gets out of jail.
