Back to the grind

I ask your understanding because this blog is gonna be all over the place.

Remember a few weeks ago when I was whining and bitching about being out of work with a knee injury and how bored I was and how much I hated it? Well if I do that again please take a moment and remind me just how much my job sucks and how much I dislike being away from home for extended periods of time. I guess I got used to being home and now I find myself homesick for the first time in 5 years of performing the same job.

As I stated I travel and this week I am in  Florida (Port St. Lucie) and the hotel I'm in has an elevator that is slow as hell so I decided to read the permit posted on the wall for the elevator and one line caught my attention

"This permit must be posted in a conspicuous place and may not be removed o defaced  without permission"

Who does one go to to get permission to deface a permit I wonder and does it have to be in writing or would verbal permission suffice?

Even though I started this off with a bitch about going back to work and travel, there is one redeeming value for traveling and working in FL in the spring time besides the weather (I feel your pain my northern brethren). What is that you ask? Spring Training!

So far in the last 2 weeks I have gone to the Cardinals training camp on fan appreciation day, got Albert Puljos' autograph, Seen the Mets play the Florida Marlins and the Washington Nationals, and all this for the cost of gas and about $20. I seriously doubt that there is anywhere else in the country with such a high concentration of baseball teams playing inexpensive games within such easy driving distance.

Well I guess that about wraps it up except for a funny sign I saw for a heairng aid place called "Mutters Hearing Aid Depot" is that classic or what?

Thanks for your Time.
