Life is an illusion, so much so, there is nothing else.
Most people believe that the two party system is two sides of the same coin. That it doesn't matter who you vote for. What ever the elite have on the agenda will play out whom ever or what ever party is in power. It does seem that way as the problems become bigger, wars increase and rights get removed.
But, there is a problem with that idea. If it were the case, then why would politicians and the elite spend so much money on elections if the game is already rigged? For example, it is estimated that both President Obama and Mitt Romney will burn up about one billion dollars each for the November election, that's two billion between them. Why would the elitist waste that kind of money if they have it set up that it doesn't matter who wins? These are suppose to be highly intelligent powerful people, so what's the deal?
There are a few possibilities. The elitist like a dog and pony show and take bets as to who will win. It's just an expensive way to gamble where they can brag afterwards. Could it be a way to fund the narcissistic whims of candidates or perhaps it is part of the grand stage in order to fool the citizens.
Still, why so much money to sell the candidate when it really isn't necessary if you're pulling all the strings? Well, I propose it is because to the elite money is cheap. They know it has no real power in of it self and they can just order as much as they want at any time. Who then are the elite? It can't be self made millionaires, they figured out ways to earn money. Why would they bother if they are the elite and money is a kind of birth right? The elite would have to be a pretty small group with great power that have been around for a very long time and don't need to work for money, they must only preserve power.
Many people are calling for higher tax rates to the rich thinking the rich are the elite. The rate does not matter to the elite, since they can print as much of it as they like. So why would people who are rich complain about higher taxes if they are part of the elite and can do pretty well what ever they want? Simply because they have to earn it by brain or by brawn.
The real elite wouldn't mind if all the millionaires went bust, because there would be less of a growing chance that they take some of the real power. The problem with destroying the incentive to be rich is that it stifles creativity and advancement of technology for which the elitist crave for their own longevity of life and power.
The struggle by the majority of people is deceptively controlled by money for which most of us need for survival and for which the elitist can produce at will. It is probably the greatest injustice ever perpetrated on mankind solely based on an illusion. Strangely enough, religion to many people would also fit that last statement.
War too is a deception. Before we enter it, it is for some virtuous cause. When it is over and it is examined, the virtuosity becomes buried so much so, that even the people who fight them are not quite sure why. Certainly, the victims will never know.
But why the bother of trying to figure this shit out? We must do the best with what we are given, play the cards we have been dealt. I find it hard to sit still while the dealer cheats or my leaders wear magician hats. There is only one solution and it is that everyone must know our world is an illusion powered by greed, secured by corruption and the fly wheel is ignorance. Sooner or later, the little key at the centre that holds the wheel in place, will be shorn. And then a new illusion can be constructed.
