Ebaumsworld Blacklisted By Reddit

Something unusual happened a few days ago. The shitty hipster website Reddit has added Ebaum's World to their auto flag filter. What does that mean? For example, if you want to link to your blog written here on some subreddit, the link will be invisible for anybody else but you, that is, of course, if you're logged onto the same Reddit account you posted it from - it's invisible for your alts too.

As most of you already know, I got a bunch of blogs featured on Reddit, especially the RPG subreddit that has very nice moderators. Currently it's impossible to share your Ebaumsworld blogs on Reddit, even thoughEbaumsworld has a dedicated widget for sharing on Reddit (it's basically free advertisement for their shitty site).

Why was Ebaumsworld blacklisted on Reddit? The sites that are blacklisted on Reddit are usually the url shorteners and spam sites. Why was a humor website blacklisted then? Ebaumsworld is a competition for them, that might be one reason. The other - people on Ebaumsworld spamming links to their shitty re-posts here to get views. It's amazing why they blacklisted the blogs too - almost every blog here is original material written by the author. They should be flattered I linked to my blogs from a dozen of Reddit alts on a bunch of subreddits, spamming the shit out of it... I mean linking a moderate amount of links to my blogs from my Reddit account. This is an absurd.

I'm not sure what is the official stand on this from the staff - it's obvious that Reddit tried to do this in a stealthy way - the link shows up for the poster and if I didn't notice by accident that the link doesn't show up for anyone else, the Ebaumsworld users and staff would probably have no idea Reddit acted like scumbags.

Ebaumsworld brings you entertainment and has a unique community of users. I guess Reddit is jealous an that caused them to put the site in one bag with the spammers.
