Fake Christian Eulogy poem

For those of you who know me, you know that I'm currently writing a book. FYI, for those who don't believe it, it's a Christian Science Fiction! LMAO, I know. I'm the last person you would expect...but what can I say? I know a lot about the topic.

So, because of this part in my book where the main character's father dies, I had to write a fake eulogy poem. I did this mainly because I didn't want to r.i.p. off (lol) someone else's poem and then have it come back to bite me in the ass. So, I give you my fake poem.

We weren’t ready for you to leave,

This earthly world we know,

But if it was God’s will, to take you still,

Then it was your time to go.

But we will always miss you here,

For you were greatly loved,

As a husband, a father, a son, a brother,

Watch over us from above.

To his family and his friends,

And to those others he left behind,

God will, be with you still,

But with another angel at his side.

How great am I at lying?! It almost makes you believe that I give a damn. I just thought everyone would get a kick out of it because, well, you all know my stance on organized religion. So, what do you think? Is it a believable fake poem?
