In a recent issue of Metal Scene magazine, Fallout Boy was proclaimed the NEW SOUND of METAL.  The article went on to say that Joe Trohman, F.O.B.’s masterful axe shredder, rivaled Dimebag and Hendrix at their best. While that might be a bit of an over-statement (or not), it is obvious that Fallout Boy is eclipsing some of metal’s former greats such as Motorhead, Pantera, Rammstein, Korn, Prong, and Metallica.

Do you think Fallout Boy is erasing the old grandpa-style of metal?  Was it appropriate for Fallout Boy's lead singer Patrick Stump to call Metallica's music "shit-rock"?  If so, what can anyone do about it except appreciate the raw talent and pure energy that is Fallout Boy?  Will Fallout Boy cap their upcoming world tour with a visit to the METAL HALL OF FAME?
