I truly believe free speech and free thought is the cornerstone to a great societies and human progression. When it is removed man walks backwards. A father's   pride for a son serving on a ship overseas should never result in his firing, especially in the USA. I can understand how the Jaun Williams firing came into play, probably a promotional stunt, using the right to free speech as a tool for their own self aggrandizement. But this story is a direct hit on free speech and how stifling it, is a cause of an eroding society.
