Is it just me or is the sudden increase of electric mobility scooters on the sidewalks the most retarded thing that I've ever witnessed? Two things bother me about these electric scooters.

1) The people who I see using these scooters look like they do not really need to be using these scooters.

2) The lack of regard of any kind of road rules these people have while driving.

When I think of who would be in need of an electric mobility scooter, I think of someone who does not have normal use of their legs and can not walk, like Steven Hawkings, or Christopher Reeves before he died, you know. But instead, we find everyone and their dog using one. The best one is the obese people, too fat to drag themselves to the nearest feedbag on their own power, let's give them a scooter, so they can get a little fatter. Or these old people, who are no longer fit to have a car license, let’s give them a scooter so they can drive on the sidewalks with their left blinker on for 20 minutes. But the worst is the normal looking people, just too lazy to go through the hassle of walking. "Fuck that, I'm getting a scooter and going to the liquor store bitch!"

Whatever the reason these people have for driving a scooter, is fine, but why do these fuckers feel the need to do whatever they like while driving on the sidewalks? I've been nearly run off the sidewalk by these scooter driving bastards. "Get out of my way you fuckers, I'm driving a scooter!"  We have rules for speed on roads for vehicles, why not on the sidewalks? I've seen these scooter demons knock over product in stores, run over dogs, cut off cars, ram into store doors and basically just get in the way of everyone in their path.

It's time to put these ignorant, selfish, lazy bastards in their place! I think the next time I see someone zipping around in their scooter I'm going to tip them over. If they lay there like an upside down turtle, then I'll know for sure that they really deserve to be in that scooter. If they stand up, I'll beat them with their seat cushion and steal the battery from the scooter...either way, I'm happy!
