This is not some dark blog about all that is wrong in the World. I don't like self loathing or a negative view of the World with it's inhabitants. There is much beauty in it's landscape, art, literature, nature and science. Even out of conflict, turmoil and struggle humans have found solutions that reflect the incredible imagination and ability we have to solve our problems.


My idea is that everything turns to shit.  All organic matter eventually breaks down. Everything man eats gets digested. Everything mankind creates and builds rots. Everything man touches will decay.  This would be the case here on Earth with or without us.


There is one thing that is not so obvious that also returns to muck. That is Man's ideas, learned behaviors and technologies. One form of government replaces another, one army overtakes, only to be taken themselves. If there is one scientific fact, it is this, it keeps changing. Truth in one era, becomes the bullshit of the next. Even the definition of physical beauty of a woman, a man or artistic rendition can be turned from one extreme to another. 


From this I conclude our very thoughts, even from masters of any discipline are organic and will over time decay. There is not one fact that I can point to that I can say will be true for ever. This may be a good thing, for within change is where truth resides. We have accepted evolution to be the natural progression of all beings. Perhaps thought and knowing is part of that progression as the past rots away.
