So I've heard this before and thought I would share this with you.

It's basically the difference between now and 50 years ago, and does a pretty good job at showing you how fcuked up America is.

 1). Little Johny brakes a window and his father spanks him.

1958: Little Johny crys for 3 hours, gets over it, and is more carefull next time.

2008: Little Johny tells his friend, his friend tells his parents, the parents call child protective serices.  Little Johny is now in foster care and his father is in jail.

2). Jose and George get into a fight.

1958: Jose wins, George puts ice on his head, they go to school the next day and become friends.

2008: The neighbor sees the fight, calls the cops, George goes to the hospital where his family now has to pay the hospital bill (which bankrups them), Jose goes to Juvi for 6 months, and can never get a job because of his new "criminal record"

3). Juan fails English class.

1958: ar beat Juan for getting an F, he passes and learns English.

2008: Parents file a lawsuit against the school on the grounds that making English mandatory for the High School diploma is racist, they win the lawsuit, English is now not mandatory to pass for the Diploma.  Juan ends up pulling my weeds because he never learned English.

4). Johny lights m80's at an anthill.

1958: Ants die, Johny gets a good laugh.

2008: NSA, FBI, CSI, MI6, and Homeland security come.  Johny is expelled from school, his father is charged with terrorism and is never allowed to fly again.

5). Johny falls down during reccess.  The teacher comes over and comforts johny.

1958: Johny feels better, gets back up, and shows his new cool briuse to his friends.

2008: The teacher is charged with child molestation, loses her teaching degree, and is jailed when johny's psychiatrist convinces him that his teacher raped him.

6). On friday night, Roger takes Suzy to make out point and the two have some good rough monkey sex, become a "thing" and breakup within the month.

1958: Roger gets over it and goes out with Janice, Suzy cries for a week, gets over it and goes out with Joe

2008: Roger is charged with rape when the two break up, Roger goes to Juvi, never plays football again, and his football carreer is riuned.  Suzy is forced into the witness protection program, moves to the other side of the country, and never sees her friends again.

7). Ray's gun is discovered in the back of his pickup.

1958: The principal comes out, the 2 compare guns, discuss women, have a beer, and go on with life.

2008: The school police arrest Ray, taze him, and pepper spray him.  He is sent to Juvi, expelled from school and has an allergic reaction to the papper spray.  Ray is now blind in one eye.

8). A burgler breaks into a house, is shot by the owners 9 mm in the leg.

1958: Burgler is caught, treated at the hospital, and sent to jail.  The owner of the house keeps his belongings.

2008: Burgler successfully sues the owner of the house for 10 million dollars, the owner is sent to jail, his wife cheats on the atturney representing the burgler, kids are put into foster care because the Lawer doesn't like them.

...and you wonder why are country is so fucked.
