I went to the pain clinic per my doctor's recommendation.  When the pain clinic doctor saw my MRIs, he said, "That looks pretty darn painful."  I had to agree.

The doctor wrote me out some large doses of pain medication and when I took the first dose, I was so zonked out of my mind, I couldn't think.  Today, I took half the dosage and can think just well enough to write this blog.

It's nice to be out of pain, but I really don't like being high enough to affect my thinking.  On the plus side, it's probably made me feel less cranky.  One thing for sure, it's a legal high!  As long as I don't start seeing pink polka dotted elephants, I'll probably be alright.
