Mess with the bull and you'll get the horns

This kid is no angel. I'm sure he was talking trash to this officer who came to work to protect children, not to be verbally abused for enforcing school rules. Students today have no respect for other students or authority figures and then cry when their behavior gets them into sticky situations.  Maybe this will teach him to follow the rules and not mouth off to police officers. Children in public schools are not being held accountable for their behaviors and the reactions that those behaviors ellicit. Instead, kids are allowed to do what they please and when someone around them gets sick of it and reacts it is this reaction that is scrutinized. This gives all the power to these brats who hide behind law suits and their parents and school administrators. I've seen this kind of BS at an inner city school where I worked. A teacher was fired for getting hit by a student! I've also had students threaten me for simply asking them to behave and not disrupt others in a learning environment. For those of you who haven't taught in an inner city school or attended one very recently you have no idea what it is like. If you feel bad for the kid and don't feel for the cop at all it's only because you don't know what it's like to show up to work wanting to help every day only to be derailed and slapped in the face by apathetic punks. This story is typical one sided sensationalism and if you believe it fully you are a sucker. This kind of story is the kind of story that is empowering the scum of the earth.
