They have passed a law here in Los Angeles that anybody caught with a football or a frisbee will be fined $1000.  At any beach in Los Angeles.  This is absolutely insane!!  These are things that you do at the beach.  Slowly, all of your freedoms are taken away until one day you have none left and you didn't even realize it.  Its the frog in boiling water analogy.  Drop it in already boiling water and it jumps right out.  But you put it in room temp water and slowly heat it up and it will sit there until it dies. 

This state and county is broke.... so they mask some bullshit law by saying it is to protect the public, when in reality they are just trying to find more ways to take our money.  But don't worry... in the winter they wont fine you.  That's very generous of them.  Plus you can throw a ball in designated areas as long as you obtain a permit.  Awesome, I get to go get a permit to toss a god damned football around with my friends.  Whens the last time a football at the beach cause anybody serious harm??  Seriously, the worst that could happen is you get Marcia Bradyed.  And at least she learned a valuable life lesson from her traumatic football to the face ordeal.

I can't wait until they issue a curfew at sundown because its harder to see at night.  Don't worry though, its for our own protection.
