Nonsensical Ravings of the Lunatic Mind

This blog is not really about the above but it is one of my favorite lines from Young Frankenstein so I thought I'd use it.  I will warn you in advance that this will be a little random and may jump from here to there but that's my prerogative.
I would like to start by wishing all my fellow Ebaumers a Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukah, Joyous Kwanzaa, or whatever celebration You observe.

What's her name and myself have been having a little trouble getting into the holiday spirit (parents sick, work overwhelming etc etc). I did however find an aide that I would recommend to anyone....My sister brought her 2 year old daughter to visit last week and there is no way to be a humbug when witnessing the joy and wonder of all things Christmas to a 2 yr old.

I recently took my parents on a trip to Maine so that dad could see grandma for probably the last time (she's 94) on that trip I learned that my parents are alot more frail and less capable to care for themselves than I had previously thought. I guess I now have to face the reality that  they will not be around much longer, bummer, I guess I knew this intellectually but never admitted it.

I was watching web soup this evening and one of the clips was some back to earth hippie weirdo cooking and preparing to eat the placenta from his wife who recently gave birth. What the fuck is wrong with people? I usually am a live and let live guy but that is a little much.

I really enjoyed Boardwalk Empire but cannot wait for True Blood to re-start. I snuck a peek in "the christmas drawer and saw that What's her name bought me the first 2 seasons of Dexter, can't wait to watch that.

I just finished a great bunch of books by a woman named Suzanne Collins,, The Hunger Games trilogy, They are published by scholastic press and are a little juvemile but the premise behind the books and the writing are above standard and I highly recommend them.

My dogs really make me laugh, they are both small (about 13" at the shoulder) but they love to play with a 12" horse ball called a Jolly Ball and it is fuckin hilarious.
Listen I know I haven't been very active here and I'm gonna try to be more attentive but you know work life etc.
I would like to close wishing all here a Merry Christmas, May you get everything you want and if that doesn't happen, may you want everything you get!

PS will drop a new flash fiction soon
