After intense pressure from religious groups  and people who can make the distinction President Obama has  woken up to why his mandate was rejected and poorly created. 



In a smart move he has changed the mandate so that the insurance companies bare the burden of offering insurance products that give employees the options they are comfortable with, without compromising their beliefs or that of their employer. Many religious groups remain sceptically optimistic, as they  should be after that direct assault, but it looks like a good solution.


That's free market, that's the point and that's how you separate church and state. I still feel Obama created the mandate to undermine religious beliefs, but now he knows his place.
