How is it possible that two people observing the same event come up with two completely different conclusions?

Why do some technologies, ideas or arts, annoy, excite, contaminate, infect, inspire or disillusion the being? 

One plus one equals two in the simplest form, but if we add other variables or complicate the equation the conclusion can be mutated into many different possibilities.

I read a story about how a loose screw has become a safety hazard on Boeing airplanes. Burning and cracking windshields, scared pilots, emergency landings etc., but under the circumstances they haven't required the airlines to repair the problem!  How can this be? I can't be sure but I would guess that, to this time no fatalities or law suites have been launched. The people on those flights were probably  told, "due to technical problems this flight has been grounded". Peoples lives were disrupted but they didn't have knowledge of all the variables involved in their situation. So due to a loose screw peoples lives were endangered, schedules disrupted and any other scenario that may have occurred but I cannot conclude without further input. Here is a plane full of people who's observations have been infected with absurdtations! It is absurd that lives have been placed in danger and peoples schedules rendered useless due to a loose screw. " This is your captain. Due to a loose screw, that we have no order or legal requirement to tighten, you entire trip has been turned upside down. Sorry for the inconvenience!

Two years ago a pilot and his stewardess wife moved in next to us. They are a social couple and I accepted an invitation to join them and their other pilot and stewardess friends for a informal dinner. Nice people, lots of fun, they were seasoned drinkers and enjoyed a variety of smoking products. 

The conversation soon turned to conversions applied to commercial airlines as a result of 911. Huge financial outlays were realized by reinforcing the doors to the cockpit area. The pilots then went on to explain to me why this exercise was a waste of resources. Behind the cockpit area there are three panels. The center panel is where the door is placed. The center panel was reinforced to obstruct would be terrorist from overtaking the pilots. Unfortunately, the left and right panels have not been reinforced and are quite vulnerable to attack. Were not most battles won due to left right flanking?

Our conclusions are therefore observations infected with absurdtations!
