After reading Garadain's comment about the cast for the new Star Wars movie, I realised that many people think you're gonna see the same actors from parts IV-VI. Here's the thing, R-tards - the story happens 4 or 5 years after the death of Darth Vader. Mark Hamill won't play Luke Skywalker. That's right. He's too old.

When the actor chosen to play Luke in the new movie has been announced yesterday, a lot of hard core fans probably got a hearth attack. Personally I don't give a shit about who plays Luke Skywalker, as long as he's a good actor. I don't have anything against Robert Pattinson. I didn't watch the Twilight saga, but I guess he's a good actor if he got the role.



Olivia Wilde won't be playing Leia Organa. This was another surprise, because it almost seemed certain that it's going to be her. Instead, Leia is gonna be played by an unknown actress from Sweden, Daria Johannson. Mara Jade is going to be played by Sasha Henricksen, known mostly for theatrical roles and it appears that it's her big screen debut.

A lot of new faces doesn't necessarily mean they cut back on costs. The movie is mainly special effects and an interesting story. Everything else is still a secret. The premiere is planned for Autumn 2012
