my wife and daughter and i live in a townhouse together. its a nice, big place, the only downfall is im the only one that does any housework. you see, my wife is domestically useless. i do all the cooking, cleaning, vehicle maintenance, fix whatever needs fixing, move whatever needs moving, etc.  she cant even pick up after herself, much less do laundry or put a fucking dish in the dishwasher. this alone wouldnt really bother me, except that i work 16 to 18 hour days 6 days a week.

i find cleaning to be strangely relaxing, its kind of my therapy from a hard week but i can only handle so much. the one job she has in the house is to feed our pets. we've collected a veritable zoo over the years, as her and my daughter both love animals. we have 2 rottweilers, a snake, 3 turtles, 2 cats,and we had a parakeet. i say had because yesterday she killed it. 2 weeks ago i noticed he had no food so i asked her to go buy seed and feed him. i assumed she had and went about business as usual. the day before yesterday i noticed the bird had no food so i asked her to feed him again, i assumed ahe did and went about my business.

this morning i got up to find the parakeet dead, it looked like he just laid on the bottom of the cage and fell asleep and died. after quetioning her, it turns out 2 weeks ago ahe never got the bird seed and instead let him starve to death! i cannot for the life of me think of a crueler death for an animal. she just stared at me blankly like "what? not my fault". this spun me into a dimension of pissed off that i havent been to in quite some time. she does nothing around the house, insists on having animals, and then doesnt feed them so they die. ( might i mention this is the 2nd time this has happened, she killed a turtle last year).

its not out of forgetfullness or mild retardation, shes simply that lazy. then she began to cry when i called her the bird nazi and likened our house to an animal auschwitz. now she fucking shows some concern! where was that concern 2 weeks ago when i told her to get off her fat ass and feed the bird? now i get to explain to my daughter why her bird died...fun. now i know what youre thinking, why didnt i just feed the bird? had i known she was willingly starving him i would have. my rottweilers never miss a meal, each one of their fat asses are tipping the scales at about 140lbs. 

1 fucking job, feed the bird and the turtles, and somehow she manages to kill them. now im supposed to feel sorry for her because the birds gone? she fucking killed it! that little fact seems to escape her still. maybe ill just tell my daughter that my wife killed it. thatll make her feel like shit, and maybe next time shell get off her lazy ass and feed the goddamn bird. fuck my life
