Skyrim And Nudity

Today's video games are a multi million market. The producers put a lot of limitations on the products, so that they get the appropriate label and they can be sold to 13 years old, for example, instead of being rated as mature. It's similar with Skyrim, which contains no nudity or brothels because of the age restriction.

Look at the Game Of Thrones and you'll realise that Skyrim could have looked like that. Recently I have encountered a funny fact. Because Skyrim is the 5th part of the Elder Scrolls series, of which I played 3rd (Morrowind) and 4th (Oblivion), and since I'm a fan of the series, I downloaded Daggerfall, which is the 2nd part. It's available for free on Bethesda's website.

Even though the game is ancient and requires DOS Box to run, has outdated graphics and requires a few command codes for DOS to be installed, it's fantastic.

There's a certain fact that drew my attention in Daggerfall. It contains a lot of nudity. First off, the inventory itself gives you a view of the character, which becomes naked  when you take off the clothes. Then there's the Temple Of Dibella with naked and half naked priestesses. There's hookers in taverns, too.

The Khajeet (cat people) look much cooler and human like in Daggerfall

It's amazing how the game restrictions looked like in 1996. What's even more amazing is that the game is playable and great. The world is vast, even bigger than Skyrim's. Especially the dungeons, filled with enemies and numerous dead ends. The quest log doesn't show you a pointer to every person or location - you have to ask non player characters about it yourself, and even if you get the reply, it's going to be something like "west from here." Sometimes it may take you an hour to find the appropriate house in a large town. But it's actually more fun this way.

I recommend the game to all Skyrim fans. Don't mind the graphics, you'll get used to them. There might be a lot of questions regarding the game play and even running the game via DOS Box, I'll be happy to share my knowledge, so feel free to pm me or ask them in the comment section of the blog.
