David Lykken proposed psychopathy and sociopathy are two distinct kinds of antisocial personality disorder. He believed psychopaths are born with temperamental differences such as impulsivity, cortical underarousal,(explains Clinton), and fearlessness that lead them to risk-seeking behavior and an inability to internalize social norms. On the other hand, he claimed sociopaths have relatively normal temperaments; their personality disorder being more an effect of negative sociological factors like parental neglect, delinquent peers, poverty, and extremely low or extremely high intelligence. Both personality disorders are the result of an interaction between genetic predispositions and environmental factors, but psychopathy leans towards the hereditary whereas sociopathy tends towards the environmental.

It is estimated that approximately 2% of people are psychopath and 1 to 4 % are sociopaths. It can be estimated that at least 3% are either.Their are approximately 307,000,000 people in the USA. So 307,000,000 times 3% is 9,210,000. A very small proportion of them are in prison. That would leave a lot of these people in our society.

Most of these people have very high IQ's and are very ambitious. It would appear to me that the psychopath would enter into the corporate world gaining their satisfaction from the pursuit of wealth. An example would be John D.Rockefeller. Sociopaths on the other hand would gain their satisfaction from controlling the society in which they live. A good example would be Adolph Hitler. 

Considering that the US economy has been, at the very least manipulated in a clandestine and inconsiderate way, suggests to me that perhaps it is run by psychopaths. The political system seems to be headed towards a socialistic society with rights taken away and people being more and more controlled everyday. This would definitely be the playing field of sociopaths. Labor unions that control large bodies of people and fight with both business and government would also be fertile growing grounds for sociopaths.

Wall St. would then be ruled by capitalistic psychopaths. Capitalism without transparency in the hands of psychopaths would explain the current situation.  

The unions are run by, at least in most cases by totalitarian socialist. This would explain the stubborn way in which they fight capitalism even at the expense of their own members and to society at large. Capitalism has always won over social betterment if that betterment does not serve capitalism.

The reason the USA now has a sociopathic socialistic government is because the psychopathic capitalist destroyed the economy. The failure of capitalism has fed socialism.

At this time within the walls of government you have both the socialist and capitalist in control with the socialist having the upper hand. The sociopaths will be happy to remove your rights and freedom and the psychopaths will be happy to take your money.

They are both aware of each others desires and will work together as long as they both get their ways. Not every member is either sociopathic or psychopathic but those who control things definitely are.

They will both work together to inflate the bubble, remove rights and freedoms for as long as they can get away with it. They do not care what happens to anybody as long as they get what they want!
