I've had one shitty spring break--I'm gonna sell my car to my FFIL basically for bill money--because I didn't get a single load all week. So I'm broke, he needs a car, it should work out. I hope.

Thus explained is my severe anti-frieking-anything-dealing-with-screwing-up-the-economy (or) taking-money-and-sticking-it-in-fat-cats hands. My boss is fat, but he's cool-- it's just the loads aren't there because people are scared-- not the really big wigs, but the mid-majors who run the day-to-day of the country, because they can't afford their Autumn and Spring homes now, because Obama's taxing them at a slightly higher rate (still 1/3 of 1940s rates, but that's my fault right?)

Not that I like Obama either, but hell, it's stupid for these guys to panic, but they do. Because we're in a rabid Capitalist Government regime. This is what I was talking about all those months ago... (show of hands--who remembers? oh. okay) The Capitalist Economy works okay, but Capitalist Government is what's to blame. We keep trying to stimulate perpetual growth, for the ever-expanding population, but there comes a point where the shit needs to die.

If the Big 3 were so bloated and stupid to collapse, including Ford who's been so kind as to not take the cash available (best PR ever) but with the other Big (Dumb) 2, if they weren't going to live on their own, then they should die. THAT is the Capitalist Economy. Do it well, do it cheap, do it for a profit. Or die.

How's the Capitalist Government figure here? Everyone calls it Socialism--but it is only in spirit--government money buying into the economy is a Communist move. But the Bailout is a pure Capitalist Pig move. Keep the big fat dummies going, to keep the little dumb voters happy, because otherwise we'll have to work for a living "Well said, Senator. We'll make you President after we let the dar... er, Mr. Obama have his repar...er, due terms of office."

I can only repeat what Plato said so long ago (though my memory sucks and I can't quote) Positions of power should not be held by those who seek them.

Given this, we wouldn't have a government looking to placate voters, and do the right thing for re-election, but just THE RIGHT THING!!!God Forbid.
