My son today gleefully showed me a music video that has over 23 million hits on Google. It was the Americano song. I found it funny and can see why teenagers find it entertaining in a primordial kind of way. Here is the video if you haven't already seen it. No need to watch the whole thing as it just repeats over and over again. Please read below, I think it is important.

 



Well, I was feeling somewhat nostalgic and wanted to listen to some Joni Mitchell, especially that song she did about Woodstock in 1970. I Goggled it and  and was saddened it had only 4003 hits.  Her performance was nothing less than magical, but 4000 hits on Google for a performance that was nothing less than genius. We have entered into the age as mankind's primordial sludge!
