CreepingJennie's blog about strange occurances made me think....and yep, sure enough, yesterday, we had a weird one......

Seems an airman who was in custody for possesion of child porn (ew, I know) escaped after a visit to the clinic because the security guards with him were using the john.  And the doctor (who did know he was in custody) just let him go without checking to see where his escorts were....so, what do you think happened?  The perv took off and then the base went on high alert lockdown.  Security forces were checking every vehicle coming on and going off base.....and that slowed traffic down to a snail's crawl.  My younger daughter was stuck in her school bus in the middle of this mayhem while my older daughter's bus got on and off base with relative ease and she managed to make it home on time.....my younger one, well, she made it home about an hour past her usual time.

Wanna know what time this loser took to running around the base?  11am!  They locked the base down at 2:30pm!  Why did it take them so long to lockdown?  And you know something?  The pervy loser is still running loose on base (if he's not already managed to get off base)!!!

Yep....strange allright!
