You know when you're in a plane and you're coming in to land, and some people don't like looking out the window and some people do...well i do, and what i saw a couple of days ago when coming into Glasgow Airport I WILL NEVER FORGET.

Looking out at everyone's back gardens, i saw an abundance of trampolines - all the same, blue, medium sized, trampolines.

I've read The Tipping Point, so i'm aware how something like this could happen across maybe a couple of streets, maybe even a block or two, but I'd say - from memory - we're talking about a SERIOUS number of trampolines, hundreds, thousands of identical blue trampolines, all taking pride of place in these people's gardens. There was barely a garden without one. As much as i love them, trampolining is NOT that big a sport.

What the fuck is going on?
