Just a question to the blog readers who own and know anything about guns. I am looking to buy a gun and wanted your opinion on a good brand as well as a good caliber for protection. I was looking at some glock 22 .40 caliber pistols and thought they looked good but didnt know for sure. Any recommendations?

Also... should I get centerfire or rimfire? What is the difference and why should i choose one over the other.

If you are gonna comment that guns are bad and shouldnt be used then refer to the second amendment and leave me alone.
