So our prime minsiter (scottish fatty or whatever his name is) has announced that the british army will be completely out of Iraq in 5 months. fatboy says that "we have truley acheived all goals in the middle east and out work is done". Now, like all world leaders with troops in Iraq he hasn't actually said what these goals are, but they have apparently somehow been acheived and we should all be happy.

when i meet somone from the military, i automatically have respect for them beause of the work that they do, but what exactly has been done? it was decided that they would go there for ....umm.... peace, but i dont see how sending troops into a place works towards making it peaceful. thats like lighting a massive fire in protest to global warming.

but i wrote this blog purley to find out what other people think, not to ramble on and on. so what do people think? shall we still be there? good idea pulling out?
