i am looking  to buy a dirt bike and found a guy who has 88 honda 125. he claims that the wadding in the silencer cale out and now the bike runs bad. he says that is the only thing wrong. now i knw a loss in back pressure in the exhaust can cause some drivability problems  but i dont know much about 2 stroke engines. he says the top end was rebuilt and bike ran great untill the wadding came out of the silencer. he seems like a good guy it was his kids bike and it has been garaged for 2 years. after all that usless info as far as i know a muffler only takes away performance is this different on 2 strokes., any useful info would would be cool.
