Jenny's Early Morning Blog
I came to realize today that the past few years of my relatively short life have been rather depressing, save for a few really spectacular moments. Up until very recently I was almost like a bum in my own home (which sounds a bit oxymoronic), excepting that I was never outside. I became a recluse and even stopped showering. I have since gotten back into the groove of hygiene but I still haven't seen my friends in many months. One thing at a time, I suppose.
I'm just tired of this stereotyping and labeling. Not everyone who cries, gets sad, cuts, or writes poetry is "Emo" or "Goth" or whatever the hell they're calling it these days. Sadness is a part of life, and people have their own ways of coping with it. Some choose to hurt themselves. Some choose to just cry it out. Some write, sing, create, destroy; and some choose to put up a different wall and insult those who would seem more vulnerable than they. Then there's me who completely abandons all personal upkeep.
I hope there will be someone who takes this seriously, as it is a serious blog on a website of a completely opposite nature. I don't expect to change any viewpoints here, I'm just getting out my thoughts.
I've thrown the meat... GO FOR IT!
