So today we finally got some snow!  We didn't get jack shit last week when we supposed to get 3 to 5 inches and the world was coming to an end, but today we got about 3 or 4.

I was actually somewhat surprised at my fellow drivers.  After snowing all day, I didn't see a single slide off or wreck on the way home.  I almost became one, but that's because I was passing some asshole who thought that they needed to go 47 in a 60 when I was safely flying along with the cruise set at 54.

I would imagine it's pretty much the same in any place that gets snow, but around here the highway departments will plow the "slow" lane down to the gravelly base and the "fast" lane when they get around to it.  But all of the idiots still think that if they touch the gas pedal they will die a fiery death.

I didn't want to go 20 miles at 32 mph, so I decided to pass the assholes who were holding me up.  That was all right until I passed this box truck that was doing a somewhat respectable 47.  It just so happened that it was a particulary ignored section of passing lane, and at one point I realized the humming coming from beneath the car was neither musichopper nor snow being thrown up, but the idiot bars.  A little farther and I was actually off the shoulder.

Now should I feel bad that I was driving dangerously in an already dangerous situation?

Fuck no!

I blame the asshole truck driver that decided that he was going to drive 47 no matter what, and fuck me if I go off the road.

I just hope that I threw up enough snow on his windshield that he couldn't see for the rest of his drive.

I am footfknmaster, and I know how to drive in snow, so get the fuck out of my way!
