I thought that I took good care of my teeth.  I brush everyday, use mouthwash, and floss occasionally.  I routinely visit the dentist twice a year like they recommend.  My teeth are straight, I never had braces, and they are white enough.  I dont use those whitening strips because they are expensive and I never had any complaints. 

I know some people that havent been to the dentist in over six years!!  Some people dont go to the dentist unless something hurts...Some people dont use mouthwash or floss at all!  Anyway, until my last visit, I have had two cavities that were filled-two, not bad for being in my late 20's (uugghh). 

I visited the dentist this week for my bi-annual checkup.  Nothing really felt wrong with my teeth and my dental hygine has been consistent as before, so, I wasnt expecting any suprises.  I get my teeth x-rayed and cleaned and the hyginest indicated that I have a problem.  "What is the problem I ask?"  Well, sir, it appears that you have five cavities.  Five cavities!!! What???  How did this happen?? How do five cavities appear between the last time I visited you (approx six months) to now??  They indicated that they have been watching "trouble spots" over the last couple years and that they exacerbated over time to the point that they need to be filled...Fuck man... that sucks.. i go to the dentist thinking my teeth are fine and BAAAM!!-five fucking cavities!!  I ask why they havent said anything over the last couple years, and they said they trouble spots did warrant action until now...

Now, I feel like my mouth is dirty... I have to have novaccaine injected into five different areas for subsequent drilling and filling!!  I can imagine how numb my face will be!!  Mayhap I will ask the doc for some of that gas they have...

I dont know how much this shit will cost me, but i was told if i leave the cavities be, they will require root canals eventually-which cost more money!!  I have insurance, but still, this shit is going to cost me like 600 fucking bucks!!

I wonder if the dentist is exaggerating these "cavities" as I feel no pain or sensitivity in any of these areas.  Dont know what to do... Perhaps, I should fucking brush more!!
