Korean Park

Jeju-do is a small Island in South Korea that is most known for being a honeymooners retreat. It became known as the Honeymoon Isle after the Second World War when victims of pre-arranged marriages were shipped off to the Island to consummate their marriage and get to know one another.

Travel author Simon Winchester reported that there were people employed as "Icebreakers" until sometime in the late 1980's. Icebreakers were paid to help young, shy couples relax and become comfortable with the idea of sex with their new partner. They preformed lap dances and entertained in ways that would give couples ideas for their "act."

Since some of the young couples didn't find the hundreds of statues that litter the countryside interesting and hiking through Jeju-do's lush mountains wouldn't do someone came up with the idea of LoveLand.
