Hey Mods,

I know this is kinda spam, but I ask your forbearance, let me present my case before you make your decision.

As we all know there are many aspiring writers on this site and I have just become aware of a type of short story called "Flash Fiction" (google it)

Flash fiction is a style of fictional literature or fiction of extreme brevity. There is no widely accepted definition of the length of the category. Some self-described markets for flash fiction impose caps as low as 300, while others consider stories as long as 1000 words to be flash fiction wikipedia

This type of fiction is featured in a daily contest at Writing.com, they give you a daily prompt and you  submit a story, there is a catch however, you only have 24 hours to write the story. Remember the story needs a plot, protagonist, storyline and resolution and it must contain certain words.

I know there are many capable writers on this site and (I'm sure) quite a few of   them are aspiring authors and wordsmiths. (Sparks, SJG, DR G, Squaw, and too many others too mention)  There is no better way to hone your craft than practice, ( how do you get to Canegie Hall?)

Sooo.... in the interests of fun I thought I would throw out a prompt and see what You guys could come up with in the way of flash fiction.

Your story must contain the words

playground  see saw  and footprint

I think this could be kinda fun, so what do you say guys?
