Reading articles about how prop 19 is dividing communities in California.  It's a head scratcher to me that people don't consider how the prohibition of alcohol was such a boon to organized crime. 

It's easier for kids to get weed than it is to get alcohol.  Studies have shown that relaxed drug laws haven't increased the use of marijuana among the underaged. 

Sure, we'd all be more productive if we didn't chemically derange ourselves, but maybe if we stopped drinking and smoking, we'd all be serial killers.
