The word comes from Greek and literally means "seizure". It's a controlable, yet very bothersome condition resulting in attacks caused my brain malfunction - abnormal electrical activity in the brain results in temporary seizures.

I am certain that a lot of Ebaumsworld users suffer from epilepsy. There are many types of that condition - about twenty different ones. Seizures can cause muscle spasms, mental confusion, a loss of consciousness and even uncontrolled or aimless body movements. That pretty much sucks for epileptics.

A lot of users have flashy avatars lately. They know that they can cause seizures in epileptic users. At least 15 cases of a seizure were reported this week.
