I don't mind packed stores shopping for gifts. I can deal with crappy weather and snow. I actually like seeing my family and relatives. But if I had to endure Sir Paul McCartney's 'Simply having a wonderful Christmas time' song a few more times, somebody was going to die. That song played in every store I was in. I challenge anyone to come up with a song more annoying than that one. If I rubbed a lamp and a genie popped out granting me one wish, I would use it to rid the world of that song forever...not just from here on but the very existence of it.

  On the same line, I won't miss the commercials that use classic songs and pipe in their slogans. My daughter thinks Target came up with the twelve days of Christmas song. We have 10 good months before that bullshit train comes around again. Try to enjoy them. I know I will.
