As of 4:00 this morning Molly had given birth to four kittens, in sequence, Paws, Beefy, Stinker and Tiny Timmy.   When I awoke this morning only Beefy and Paws remained.   There was no blood, we've found no remains and the new family was safely nestled in a cardboard-box with a lid.

   I'm no stranger to the brutality of nature, but this fucking cat is eating its young while it's still in labor.   Can you get mad at an animal for behaving like an animal? No.   Does it make the evidence of infanticide or cannibalism any less disturbing? Nah, not really.   But should this fact bother me more than it has already?   I hope not, because my first reaction to the news when I woke up was to laugh, not in a funny "haha" way, but the way you laugh when you realize your expectations were too high.   Nom Nom Nom, pass the ketchup and uh-thank you very much you furry little bitch.
