Arriving at the end of my life, I had hoped not to have to witness such a thing as has happened to America.  Many people are out celebrating today, but celebrating what?  Liberty?  Freedom?  Oh, I'm sorry.  Those things have been deemed obsolete by the state... for our safety, of course.  Enjoy your televised fireworks tonight.  As for me, I'm an obsolete man.  I come from an era where people would have died rather than give up their freedom for a little temporary safety.  Forgive me for not celebrating with you.  This is my last stand for my own independence on Independence Day.
