Garadain's Recipe Book part 2

Hey guys!  Garadain here again, and today I'll be teaching you a personal favorite of mine.  As always, I'll give the recipe first so you can see if you're able to guess what it is we're making.  So come take my hand, and together we'll embark on an epic journey for culinary fulfillment that will leave you weeping ecstatic tears.

First of all, let's gather our ingredients.  You'll need:

Hot dogs
Hamburger buns
Water

Next, you'll need to gather up your hardware.  You're going to need:

Something to boil water in
An oven with a range or a hot plate or some shit like that
A knife, or if none are clean maybe a spoon

Okay.  Now that we have our ingredients, let's get started shall we?  First, you're going to put the hot dogs into the thing you're going to boil water in; use whatever you've got on hand.  (Legal disclaimer: if you're a dumbass about this and fuck your shit up, I am not legally responsible)  Next, pour the water into the thing you put your hot dogs in.

Now the next part is important: you're going to put your hot dogs and water on the source of heat of your choice until the water boils.  I like to achieve this effect by turning the heat up to High, but if you've got all day to dick around then you can leave it at a lower setting.

Patience is the key to this next step, because you need to wait for the water to boil.  I usually use this opportunity to watch an episode of Jon Benjamin Has a Van or write a blog, but make sure you keep an eye on your shit or it will boil over.  Once this happens, your hot dogs are ready.
Remove the hot dogs carefully but not with your fingers, and lay them out on a plate, or the counter if none are clean.

At this point, you're going to check wherever it is you keep your bread for hot dog buns, and discover that you've only got hamburger buns.  This is a key step to preparing today's dish.  Now get your hamburger buns out, and select a hot dog.  Cut it in half, then cut the halves in half, then lay them flat on the bottom bun.  Top it with the other half of the bun, and voila!

Have you guessed what today's dish is?  That's right: it's a hod dog sandwich!  You'll want to serve these right away, because they aren't very good when they get cold.  Typically four to six of these will feed a hungry grown man, so use that as a basis for how many you make.
