The mighty lizards known as dragons are nearly extinct nowadays and hard to come by. Even more than that, it's very possible that a lot of dragon races haven't been discovered by botanists yet, since their bones are not easy to find.
Typical dragons share similar characteristics - they are wise, their lifespan is very long and they can fly. Some can breathe fire. The mighty lizards are known to be perverts and their favorite kinks are inter-species erotica (especially with human women), bondage, virgins and high society/VIP porn (that's why they usually demanded a princess threatening to burn down the city if they won't get one delivered to their cave).
There's many different kinds of dragons. Some of the most popular ones are:
Black Dragons

Gold Dragons
There are faggots even in the dragon realm.
Chinese Dragons
Currently banned by the government. It's illegal to be a dragon in China and nobody knows what happens to them if they get discovered - since facebook is also banned there, it's impossible to check for any updates from their friends.
Half-dragons
The princesses were rarely saved from the clutches or the mighty dragons because it actually isn't that easy to kill a powerful, fire-breathing reptilian with a sword. Unless they fell asleep. But the firedrakes were usually smart enough to set traps, so.... Anywho, half-humans, half-dragons exist. The most well known half dragon of our times is that Chinese chick who played the half-dragon in Golden Child with Eddie Murphy
