Messing with Space and Time

Scientists at Cornell University have been able to hide the flow of light for a fraction of a second a result that could alter our perceptions of space, time and our own reality.

Remember, everything you see is in the form of light traveling from the witnessed event/person to your eyeball. The Cornell researchers experimented with beams of light, splitting light so that one part sped up and the another part slowed down. In the middle was a gap where light was masked. Meaning an event could be masked.  During the experiment, the scientists were able to "hide an event for 40 trillions of a second using fiber optics. Its as if a portion of time was erased --- though, it wasnt erased. It just wasnt viewed. Its almost as if the viewer fast-forwards to the next frame, skipping whatever happened in that small fraction of a second.

Im sure the military industrial complex is salivating at the possibilities.
