However ecstasy is really not as euphoric as it is said to be, because the methylenedioxy molecule somewhat cancels out the effects of the methamphetamine. Methamphetamine is a strong central nervous system stimulant with very strong dopaminergic effects which are extremely psychologically euphoric, however the methylenedioxy somewhat slows down you're thinking and makes it harder for you to achieve the amazing psychological bliss of methamphetamine. The methylenedioxy is somewhat intoxicating and slows down your thought proccess and if your thought process is slowed down than it makes it hard to experience the amazing motivation and outgoing feeling you get from amphetamine.
