My Misery!

People enjoy other people's misery so I'd thought I could mildly entertain you with mine. I woke up this morning with a sore left big toe and the one next to it. I wasn't sure why, but it may have happened when I passed out last night.  This evening the pain was barely noticeable as I sat down at my desk. Flopping into the chair, my foot extended and I was reminded how I hurt my toes last night.  "Clunk", or was it "Smush", into the leg of my desk, either way it hurt so bad, I couldn't move for what seemed like two minutes of excruciating pain. It wouldn't have been so bad, if it was later in the night, I'd probably not know till the morning.

My stick it finger and my little finger on my right hand have been acting up lately. If I tap them even gently on top, it's a world of pain for about two seconds, it's like a painful shock, but then disappears. Also my lower back feels like there is a pinched nerve there. All this misery and it is 40 degrees Celsius with one hundred percent humidity and all my projects are outside. Not only that but I couldn't be bothered to buy something for supper tonight. Oh whoa is me!

Remember back when you were a little kid and the old folks would come over and bore you with all their aches and pains? Well, you just got a dose here.

Another strange thing happened to me of late. There is a number I have seen very frequently most of my life, "454", I see it every day on the clock, even analog, when I'm driving without even trying or thinking about it, I'll notice the address is 454, or I'll see a licence plate with the number. It appears in the strangest places, even some of my fovorite music is 4 minutes 54 seconds long. As a kid I played a lot of cribbage and most of my cards were 4's and 5's, I rarely lose at cribbage.

It's something I was never concerned about, I just thought it coincidence. My son who is studying philosophy completed a course that studied the meaning of numbers and so I mentioned my experience to him. He thought about it and told me those were bad numbers. The strange thing is now that I told him about it, about a month ago, I never see them.

Both of the following songs were 4:54 before I told my  son about the anomaly.

And of course, my favourite Led Zeppelin song has been reduced by one second now?

Like what is going on? Even an Eagles song has gained one second, since I last checked.
