Flash gaming is an exciting time-waster for those of you unaffiliated with it, or confined to the parallel aspects of iPhone apps for familiarity on what small game files can offer.

As I was telling Fuzzy, people tend to believe Flash software is reserved for crude and pointless game files, and only useful in terms of video applications. Not so. As with discussing the Resident Evil iPhone app, for example, it's a good reminder that on the flip-side, Flash game creators have been doing their own spinoffs for years in unbelievable quality. Artists such as Tesshi-e, Ben Leffler, ClickShake, snarlik, and many others have worked long hours to bring audiences great games a lot of common phone apps can't compare to - and 99% of them don't make a dime.

Time, perseverance, and a true love for gaming is what makes the difference. As for Apple, although slowly incorporating more Flash applications into usage over the years, it's their own fault to bomb by not following through with Flash when it comes to users enjoying endless quality titles in the game category... or perhaps that wouldn't make shitty app coders money?

1.  Inculcation


 
One of those highly entertaining horror escapes, Inculcation is part action-shooter, puzzle mystery, and scribble-zombie fiasco. Creepy and substantial. An excellent game.

2.  La Luna Hotel



One of the very first Flash games I ever played, and a classic escape-the-room. Stuck in a seemingly abandoned hotel, you must solve challenging puzzles in order to escape and discover who left you there, and why. The ending is a shocker!

3.  Escape from the Haunted Room.



A Japanese escape game, but language barrier isn't a problem - since there is no language here at all. Not even item descriptions or sound, which makes this creepy game even more frightening. Use what you need to escape the scary, limbless ghost girl's place. Or she'll kill you!
