Recently, I've talked a lot with the staff about possible improvements on this website. Since there's a lot of possibilities, and the site's developers are always happy to hear new ideas, I encourage you to give your opinion on some of the features that you'd like Ebaumsworld to have, as well as the currently available ones. Maybe you don't like something? Perhaps you'd like something else here?

One of the ideas I discussed with the staff is the Achievements Bar. It would be something like the one Reddit has, yet the Reddit achievements are rather shitty and don't work very well for them. The idea of achievements on Ebaumsworld would have to be something nice that also shows quality - unlike the shit on Reddit. What would the achievements be? Apart from classic "X years on this site" or "Quality submitter," there would be special traits. Contest Winner? Sure. Content designer (for original content authors) would also be a special trait awarded by the staff, not by automated systems.

What else? Comment flair might be a cool idea. especially since you could choose the flair from your achievements. This way the achievements would matter. Imagine you could choose 2 achievements to show up next to your user name whenever you comment. Kick ass, huh?

Another cool thing about it is that I'm the author of the idea, so I get to choose who gets what. As an immensely talented artist, I get to design them, as well. This means that if you have a cool idea, you can contact me and I'll think about it. I'll have the privilege of awarding some people the traits. Like a judge.
