The Greatest Speech Ever Given

It was around lunch time on this day back in 1863 when the great man rose from his chair and faced the crowd. He was tired and it showed. As noted by a friend, his face had 'a ghastly color'...he was 'sad, mournful, almost haggard.'
Yet there he stood, numb from the crushing weight of a nation at war with itself.
His own reflection, seen in many shades, emanated from the weary and shell shocked faces of the men who gathered around him.

E Pluribus Unum.....out of many, one.

It took President Lincoln two minutes to deliver the Gettysburg Address. Just two minutes to remind us of who we were, of who had been lost, of what was at stake, and of the monumental challenges that lay ahead. Its brevity underscoring the importance of the moment.
It was the greatest speech ever given, and it took just two minutes. What have you done with two minutes of your time today ?
