What's Happening with My Life Lately

I've had more surgeries since I last posted.  I've been in and out of the hospital so many times I feel like a yo-yo.  I've now had two triple bypasses, my gall bladder removed, a hiatal hernia surgery, and a stent added.

I recently found out that I have a precancerous tumor in my stomach.  Stomach cancer is what killed my late wife, Diane.  I saw her go through the torture, pain, and suffering of chemo and multiple surgeries to no avail.  She was dead six months from the time they found the beginnings of her stomach cancer.  She was literally nothing but skin and bones when she died.

The heart doctor doesn't want to let me have the precancerous tumor removed because I might die in surgery?  WTF???  I'd much rather die under anesthesia than die from a prolonged battle with stomach cancer.  The idiot is afraid a surgery might kill me so he's going to let me die of stomach cancer?  He's not right in the head.  So, for now, I'm just waiting to see how long it's going to take for me to die from stomach cancer.  I don't plan on having any expensive and painful chemo like my late wife had.  To HELL with THAT!  I'll just pass naturally as long as they keep me out of pain.

In other news, the editor of Subversify Magazine for which I've written has asked me to write my life story and has promised to pay me for it.  I guess the trick is getting it written before I kick the bucket.  If I do get it completed in time and he DOES pay me, it might give me some money for my pain meds or at least some of my medical bills that I'm so far up to debt in that I'll never get paid off in my lifetime.

I'm also working with some other musicians and a studio online to try to get my song Corporate CEO Man recorded and released in time to make an album to help pay for my medical bills.  I'm also writing some music for some of their songs.  We'll see how that goes.  Only the bass player has sent a version with his idea for a bass line so far.  The other two are dragging their feet.  I really think the song is an appropriate parody of corporate CEOs in America.

So, how's life been treating YOU?

Love, Hope, Peace, and Christ be with you,

Cal-el
