Quirky Habbits, Obsessive Compulsions..etc.

Every so often I find myself caught in a mindfight with myself. For instance, there are times when I'm shootin some hoops and fall into a routine where I tell myself I can't go inside until I make 1) a 3 pointer 2) a free throw 3) layups -left, right and middle If I make all 3 numbers I can reward myself and go inside. However if I miss any I must start from the beginning. This is one of the more simpler, and often I change my requirements to suite my needs (if I'm physically exhausted).

Another example is when I'm flipping a phone in the air, or tapping on something, or doing a pattern of some sort. Upon doing these things, occassionally before I quit doing them I have to repeat the process 9 times. Don't ask how I came up with 9, because that is another story entirely. (its a perfect number =)). Moving on...Well in these cases, while they take less time than the basketball routine are more tedious because I cannot for any reason stop before they have been performed 9 times. I remember one time I was playin with one of my girlfriend's fingernails and  she said to quit, but I was caught in the 9 times. I was worried at first, but I proceeded to try to do it 9 more times. Well...she fricken stopped me by pulling her hand away. I said to her just let me! Well she said no, and then I explained about my 9 times OCD and to my relief she said okay.
