The way we argue.

As some of you may have noticed, I took most of the weekend away from EBW.  The main reason was because my new Pontiac Sunfire Convertable (yeah...the "shit"fire) was finally out of the shop, carwash, and maintenence place.  All that had to be done was get the #^@% armor all off of the collapsable top.  I managed to get most of it off (I hope).

Though while I was cleaning off the convertable, just me, some windex and a @%#^ of dirty washclothes.  I got thinking about how things are done around here in the blog section.  Primarily how people "win" the fights that go on here.

I'm going to use my blog about purchasing the convertable as an example.  Some of you said "Congradulations", some said "You're a spoiled brat", and some said "Pontiac "shit"fires suck".

For those of you who said "congradulations" this isn;t really talking about you.  This blog is mainly about the people who responded in a negative fashion.

It seems that whenever something good happens in a persons life, someone has to some around and try to make their life null and void (like I'm sure portlet is going to do in response to this blog) by either saying what happened to them isn;t good enough, or by calling them names.

For those of you who said I was spoiled:  Is it really that bad that my parents desided to buy me a really sporty car for my "first" car?  Was your car a trashy volvo wrapped in bubblewrap that only went at a maxixmum of 40 miles an hour?  I just need to know how owning a red convertable is going to make me anymore "spoiled" that so many of you think I am.  Mainly because half of the people on this site are spoiled beyond recognition.  Why is it that when someone has something go right in their life, they're atomatically labeled as "spoiled?"  Are you jealous that it didn;t happen to you?

For those of you who said that the sunfire sucks:  What difference does it make to you?  For all you know, I live on the other side of the country or maybe down the street from you.  Making someones life seem horrible compared to your is egotistical and gets no respect from anyone.  I would much rather hear someone tell a story about how blah their day went then how you're the greatest thing sence the Mythbusters.

And what I've also noticed is that when someone eventually runs out of things to say, they do a variety of things to try and "win" the argument.

1.  The cuss more.

2.  They "yell"  (use all caps)

3.  Thet rely on petty insults.

4.  All dignity goes out the window.

That's pretty much it.  So those of you who read the first paragraph and felt the need to flame the hell out of this blog can do so.
